The investigation and manufacturing of energy-power plant for thermal conversion of hog manure
Project Summary
This project is directed to the solution of problems of environmental protection, that arises while utilizing both liquid manure such as hog and some others.
As a result of this project the necessary documentation will be presented as well as the models of principal units of energy power plant designed for thermal treatment of the manure will be made up.
The energy power plant will provide the conversion of liquid manure into pressed or sand-like forms both directly after stock-breeding process and after its processing in methatanks.
The energy-power plant consists of thermal-drying apparatus and energy-set. The drying apparatus consists of the furnace device and drying chamber, that is replaced over of furnace. The energy-set is presented by a 5-10 Kwt wind power station. The energy produced by above- mentioned wind power station will be used for the home-life use as well as technological needs.
The energy-power plant is included into the special constructed technological chain. In accordance with the technological process the liquid manure enters into the drying apparatus, where it gets dried and is exposed to thermal treatment. One part of the thermally treated manure is transported to the agricultural fields as organic fertilizer. The other part is utilized in the furnace device as fuel.
The completeness of combustion is provided by a special construction of furnace device and as well as utilization of hydrogen as additive fuel.
The energy spending decrease on liquid manure conversion is ensured due to the using of a part of the manure, as dry fuel and wind power station as an additive energy source.
The part of the energy produced by the energy-power plant can be used to heat of the methatank in winter period.
The application of the project will allow to solve the problem of rational utilization of stock-breeding liquid manure.
Finances
At present, this project has been submitted for consideration at the Science and Technology Center in Ukraine (STCU, project proposal 41539). Only part of the finances may be provide by STCU.
We would like to conclude an agreement with a government level or industrial establishment to maintain the working out of design documentation and making separate model samples of the energy-power plant.
