TITLE: ELECTROAEROZOLE EQUIPMENT AND METHODS CHECKED BY:
PROJECT: Proposal for cooperation FILE: proj5.doc
PRINCIPAL AUTHOR(S): William Zadorsky, Sergey Melnichenko SHEET 1 OF 2

1.SUMMARY

Essence of the object without uncovering of the main substance of "know how"

Electroaerozole particles' movement is governed by the laws of electric charges' movement in electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields. At the expense of this the effects of electroaerozole particles' deposition at different surfaces are obtained.

Non-traditional methods of the cleaning of gases of hard and liquid dispersed particles and also of waste gases (sulfur and nitrogen oxides) are: electric preparation of purified gases; high voltage supply to the filter's system; thermal diffusion foresees.

In difference of usual design we use for the getting of charged particles not only clean sorption liquids but also previously formed liquid-gas mixture. It allows to expel of sedimentation of solid particles at elements of the equipment. The use of self-induced oscillation at electroaerozole's generation and forced electrode position provides with high service index.

The high-voltage device (HVD) consists of 3 components:

The CB forms a low-voltage, which is necessary for the HC. The HC is places near from a working body and will transform a low voltage in a high voltage.

Main feature of the HVD:

Target voltage.................................... 40 kV
Target current.................................. 150 mkA
Input voltage of the CB ...............  DC 12V Max.
Input power................................... 10 VA.

Besides of high describing spheres of using our equipment and technology we use for industrial painting with electrostatic field of high voltage for liquid paint raw material. The equipment can be used in industrial painting conveyor with increasing efficiency of paint raw material to 95 per cent.

The maximum effect of this method employing was obtained with conveyor painting of large production with the little area of surface (grids, frame etc.). The special effect of electrostatic painting was to paint total area of production with sprayer from one side.

The complex of equipment for electrostatic painting consist of:

Pressure of compressed air .................. 0.2-0.3 MPa
Dimensions of sprayer ......................... 135 * 100 * 100 mm
Weight of sprayer ................................ 1.8 kg

The high-voltage device (HVD) is similar of high described and also consists of 3 components: control block ( CB ), high-voltage converter ( HC ) and connecting cable (CC ). The CC serves for electrical connection the CB and the HC (with voltage 24V). The electric installation has the same advantages as high described in comparison with similar ones in developed countries.

Target voltage .................................... 120 kV
Target current .................................. 150 mkA
Dimensions of the HC ...................... 60 x60 x315 mm
Weight of the HC .................................. 1.2 kg
Dimensions of the CB ................... 320 x285 x140 mm
Weight of the CB ................................. 3.5 kg
Max. length of the CC .............................. 20 m
Input voltage of the CB ........... AC 220V + / -10%, 50Hz
Max. input power ................................... 20 VA

The developed electrocharging attachments can be used in all types of the sprayers.

2. The level of realization of the object in the industry is testing and partial inculcating in productions at the chemical, agricultural and machine-building plants of the FSU.

Electroaerozole equipment and methods are used in some spheres. Electroaerozole methods are the future of the resource-savings in the field of: protection of agricultural productions (permits to reduce of the consumption of chemical weed-killers and pest-killers in 5-6 times); purification of industrial gas from dispersed particles (detection effectiveness of the process increases to 99.9 per cent), purification of gases from nitrogen, sulfur and carbon oxides, (detection effectiveness to 60 per cent); improving of the quality of the paint coating; intensification of reaction (among them oxidation ones) and mass transfer processes.

The first of all it is the garden and kitchen-garden splashers with electric charge of the drops. The modules for electric charge are created to garden and kitchen-garden splashers, ensuring ecological cleanliness of the food, reduction of environmental pollution, reduction of the norms of the chemical reagents' charge in 5-6 times.

The electrocharging attachment of the sprayers has been tested under pilot-scale-industrial conditions and recommended for its wide application.

3. The main technical and economical results of realizations. Our method gives the improving of the quality of coating, allows to reduce the amount of paint raw material and to reduce the quantities of wastes.

Only in Ukraine there are about 15 mln. garden and kitchen-garden sites in individual use, which require of the processing by chemical reagents. Plashers, equipped by electric charge modules, exclude of chemicals hit in the ground and permit to reduce of the accepted norms of the charge of chemicals in 5-10 times. A profit on sale one module to splashers for electric charge makes $10-20. A profit in the first year of work of the enterprise can make $500 thousand at volume manufacture from requirement only of the Ukrainian market in 10%.

Main features of the HVD:

4. Desired forms of the exit in the west market of high technologies. We will deliver sprayers WR-30 with high voltage device "Crown-120-2" or separately. We search for the business partners for joint activity on mutual beneficial conditions.
